S McConnell & Sons carried out extensive natural stone restoration at St Patrick’s Church, Ballymacnab, including areas of traditional repointing and the replacement of heavily weathered and damaged stonework. Specialist stone replacement was undertaken around the church’s tracery windows and bell tower, with new stone carefully shaped and finished to match the existing historic masonry. We also constructed the natural stonework for a new extension to the rear of the church, carefully matching the existing building to create a seamless connection between the historic and new structures. Our skilled stonemasons combined traditional masonry craftsmanship with modern stone-cutting techniques to preserve the architectural character and integrity of the church.
