S McConnell & Sons carried out specialist stone restoration works at Christ Church in Lisburn, including the complete dismantling and rebuilding of the stone tower.

Existing stonework was carefully scanned and templated to accurately reproduce complex historic architectural details, with replacement components manufactured using CNC stone-cutting technology and finished using traditional hand-carving methods. The tower was then reconstructed on site using traditional masonry techniques, with our skilled masons carefully building and finishing the stonework to faithfully restore the original character of the church.
