S McConnell & Sons carried out the exterior restoration of Banbridge Church of Ireland, carefully replacing damaged natural stone across the front elevations and restoring the church tower. Using a combination of traditional masonry techniques and modern technology, heavily eroded stone was carefully replaced to match the existing stonework. The spire and pinnacles were also descaled to reveal the natural colours of the stone. Traditional repointing and steam cleaning were carried out where required, allowing the stone to breathe and helping to preserve the character and appearance of this historic church.
