We are currently involved in a major refurbishment of The Connaught Hotel in Mayfair, London in which we have added a terrace Restaurant which extends from the main entrance to a side entrance. This involved us making fourteen columns and capitals from Portland basebed limestone to match the main existing entrance door, we have tiled the entire area leading from the steps at the main entrance through to the main foyer using Portland basebed on the steps and Grigio Amani on the flooring in the reception area.
Although the impact of this was quite large it doesn’t exceed the ninety two bathrooms that are all being fitted out with Thassos marble. This includes shower trays, vanity units and bath surrounds.
